YoKhary Ramadan Reflection Part Two

Ramadan Reflections | The Help We Need

We gained a lot from this video. We do find ourselves missing the key point in the first chapter of the Quran that he honed in on. We open our mind and ponder the lesson given in this short video.

YoKhary Ramadan Reflection Part One

Ramadan | Distractions Averted

Distractions; All of us have them for sure. Ramadan is an escape from those normal unexpected ones, that we police our ourselves from. We cage our natural instincts to provide a spiritual safe haven to build the light in our souls and remove the black spots from our hearts in an accelerated manner. WE invest that time toward the good by reading Quran, sacrificing normal sleep to participate in night prayers, hitting our normal prayers on time, remembering Allah, or doing good righteous deeds. In tow with abstaining from negative acts and even removing things that are normally allowed for the sake of gaining a higher spirituality toward our Lord.

The beauty of it all is we are aided with Allah’s (SWT) help by him closing the gates of hell and chaining the major devils that interfere in our affairs. This relief comes and goes quickly, or “FAST”! (Pun Intended) Special Thanks to one of my mentors for sharing this point. We recorded 2 parts this is the first of the videos.

Ramadan The Month Of Dua

I’ve have stumbled many times in my life and I have been at my worst and I was on the verge of giving up. The walls felt as though they were closing in on me.

I have had several near death experiences, or things I’ve walked away from with just a couple of contusions or at the worst a high ankle sprain.

The link that all these have in common was I remembered calling out to Allah when I was in dire need and he answered.

I’ve seen things come to fruition that I have asked for and more came with it more than I could have ever imaged. You reading this from me currently, is a dua answered from our Creator.

I get very emotional and long-winded when it comes to how merciful Allah has been to me in my short life on this earth. Some things can not be explained in a quick blog post.

My point is this, NEVER fail to call Your Lord no matter the situation. HE will always answer. Heading into these last 10 night of Ramadan, I plan on plenty of “Face Time” (praying in sujood). This is where we lay it all out and leave the outcome of affairs we desire to have here in these last ten night.

Allah is waiting for us to call on Him & He will respond.

“If my servant asks of me, indeed I am near”.
Quran 2:186

Ramadan Helps Us Reconnect With The Prophets

The stories of the prophets in the Quran are lighthouses to steer us away from rocky shores of life. No Matter what you face in life there is a story that we can gain benefit and purification from the stories of the Prophets mentioned in the Quran. As we face the same recurring trends over and over again the older we get. We see that life is a merry go round, just wait and you will see the same thing come around again. We can buck the system by learning about previous nations of the past and make a brighter future tomorrow by just taking the time to read and understand these examples that our Creator highlighted for us in this book that was reviled during this month of Ramadan.

The Quran is why we honor Ramadan

The month of Ramadan is so special to me for it is when the Quran was reviled. To me, it only makes the most sense that we fast during this month because of the physical and the spiritual virtues it provides. We tap into our spiritual selves to receive and understand this spiritual healing provided to us by our Creator.

It is a time when the monkey is off our back by that I mean by this: ” It is said when the month of Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are shut up, the devils are put in chains and a proclaimer proclaims O seeker of good, advance. O seeker of evil, come back.”

Personally, this time has been great and I’ve reached new heights in my life personally by reading the Quran in its Arabic form this month. But I’ve had my deep lows 😢 this month too. I’ve recovered really quick because of the love of the Quran this month. The Quran and I have forged a special relationship, one can only pray for me that I can continue this love.
